Acclimating the Vegetables and Herbs: Gary Pilarchik |
Welcome! This blog is dedicated to helping you grow food and have a better garden. Every year I do a real time garden video series that covers everything! Watch me as I grow in Maryland on my 2 acre garden homestead. Thanks for Visiting "A Garden Wants to Give. All You Have to Do is Help it Along!" Cheers!

Sunshine for the the Sheltered Vegetables and Herbs
I mentioned you have to make sure you slowly introduce the plants you start indoors to the sun. If you are not careful they can get damaged. I have some seed trays out in this picture on the step. If you take out your seed trays and give them a couple hours of sun when they are small, you will have to spend less time transitioning them to the outdoors. They feel the sun as sprouts and 'tuffin up'.
