Cool Weather Vegetables: Nudge NUDGE!

Visted My Youtube Tomato and Vegetable Garden Video Channel: Videos About Everything Vegetable Gardening

There is still plenty of time to get a lot of your cool weather crops in. You probably have to skip broccoli and cauliflower but there are a lot of other seeds you can put right in the ground.

I am starting my second planting of radishes this weekend. So... radish can definitely go in as the mature in 28 to 40 days. I also planted peas as per my video a few days ago. With 65 days of maturity that take you into mid June which is fine for peas.

Lettuces can go in. Spinach can go in. Kohlrabi can go in. I have cilantro coming up, it likes cool weather.

Kale can go in. I'll be blogging about transplants this weekend. I have kales and Chinese cabbage going in.

I will also be transplanting my tomatoes to larger cups and building a hot-house tomato cage. Because I will be putting a tomato out now! Experimental...

Have Fun! The season is here!

A Home Security System and Peace of Mind

Gardening brings me peace of mind. My own peace - which is essentially being able to concentrate on a task without worrying. I also enjoy seeing results from my labor in the garden. Peace of mind also comes with home security and knowing that there is a 24 hour alarm available if an emergency arrives. An ADT Home Alarm is peace of mind. Hopefully, I will never have need for an alarm but having a home security system now-a-days is a good idea.

A home alarm system prevents potential problems. With a home system you warn potential intruders that you house is protected. Warning stickers and house signs let people know your home and family is monitored 24 hours a day. That in itself deters would be intruders from even approaching your home. Prevention is the key to safety. An home alarm really does provides peace of mind. Now if they only could monitor my garden and let me know when squash bugs and white-flies, and let’s not forget the green cabbage worms, arrive!
