  1. I bought several plants at your sale and am having some bug problems. All plants are still in the Styrofoam cups. The cayenne pepper is just covered in little green bugs. I took off as many as I could, but the soil seems to have them as well. Also, the california wonder has some white spider looking bugs. What do you recommend using? These are the same little green bugs that destroyed my mint plant last year.

    1. Just curious what weekend did you buy them? Yesterday or the week before. And are they still in the styro-foam cup?

Soapy water should kill most small bugs. You can make a spray if you have a spray bottle or just make a bunch of suds and put the suds all over the leaves.

If they plants look bad... I would just replace them with new plants from my house. I have both. I haven't seen any green bugs which are probably aphids or spider looking bugs. LMK.

    2. I stopped by a few days before your sale, May 9th I think, from your ad on craigslist. The plants look healthy- the bugs hadn't had a chance to do any damage yet. I'll soap them up this afternoon and hopefully that will be the end of that. They are still in the styro-foam cups but they'll be going into the ground May 25th-26th at the latest.

    3. Soap suds kill most soft body insects. I will be at the Giant flea market this Sunday. If they look bad just come replace them.

If the cups have been sitting together, check out the other plants. The bugs tend to hop. You can go online and look for a soap spray recipe. I cant recall the exact ratios. But it works.
