Kale Over-WIntered, Cut Back and Delicious

I had trouble with my kale last year due to white-flies. I fear they will be back. They came back in the Fall and covered my kales. Instead of yanking all the plants, I cut the leaves back and left the stems/stumps of the kale. I new they would grow back and there is nothing better then kale leaves flavored by the cold.
