If you temperatures hover in the 40's and such but the frost risk is around, the hot-house can protect them.<br /><br />I had to do the same thing and go buy a tomatoes. I hate spending 3.50 for a tomato when they are growing for pennies in my house but what can you do. <br /><br />I would put out a plant or two and just see how it does. <br /><br />You want to time it right where the cage can keep the area in the 50's.
