Bursting Bubbles

My brother and his family recently came to visit me for the weekend. They live about two hours away and come to see us about three or four times a year. He and his wife have two small children, a daughter who is eight years old and a son who is four. They also brought their twelve year old beagle named Snoopy. Snoopy is getting old and has some hearing loss. He used to be a pretty good watch dog, barking at any strange sounds he heard in the house and barking at any strangers who approached their house outside. My brother told me that he got a new security system through HOME SECURITY 101 since the dog was not so reliable anymore. He explained to his daughter that it was a type of alarm that would keep her and her brother and mom safe when he was not at home. He thought that she would be so impressed with the system and think it was really cool. Then she said that her best friend down the street had had one for a long time. Of course that burst the bubble. I told my brother to just wait until she is a teenager, then we will talk about bursting bubbles.
